Application Process

If you are interested in sending your children to St. Thomas More School, your first step is to contact the Principal (details in the next section, "Schedule a Visit").  Depending on a number of factors, the Principal may supply you with registration paperwork at the time of your visit.  If you're not quite ready to register your children at that time, you also have the option of holding a spot for your child by filling out the Pre-Admittance Form and paying the nominal fee.  (This form is to be filled out only by those who have already scheduled/had a visit with the Principal and can be found in the section "Schedule a Visit".)

Registration for our currently enrolled families takes place in mid-March. After in-school registration, any available spots are opened to those families who have visited with the Principal prioritized as listed below.

Students who have siblings in Kindergarten thru 8th grade are given priority for enrollment into St. Thomas More Catholic School.  St. Thomas More Catholic School, being a parish school, must place active parishioners wanting enrollment in Kindergarten first. Parents may pre-register their children for Kindergarten by filling out the Pre-Admittance Form beginning on the first day of school of the year preceding their beginning school. For example: I have a child I want to start kindergarten in the academic year 2020-2021. I would be permitted to pre-register that child on the first day of school in the academic year 2019-2020.

Students are enrolled in St. Thomas More Catholic School according to the following list of priorities:

  • Siblings of children presently enrolled in the school
  • Children of registered and active members of St. Thomas More Parish
  • Catholics who are enrolled in the St. Thomas More Catholic School Preschool program
  • Non-Catholics who are enrolled in the St. Thomas More Catholic School Pre-school program
  • Catholics who are active in a parish other than St. Thomas More Parish
  • All other students
