We know the new school year is full of hope, fear, promise, and anxiety.  We have all had these feelings at one point in the last 3 months.  Please know we are not making any decision lightly.  We believe students must be in school and learning, but we also feel it is equally important to keep students safe.

St. Thomas More has an obligation to safeguard our students, their families, and the community in general.  We are working closely with the Spokane Regional Health District to get protocols in place to accomplish the goal of keeping everyone safe. 

As of this writing, cases are beginning to plateau.  We strongly recommend limiting contact with non-family members.  This will help continue the trend and get our schools fully open sooner.  Your cooperation, even with reservations,  is imperative for this transition to become a reality for the sake of the entire community.
