Altar Server Ministry

Catholic students in grades 4th and above have the opportunity to serve their parish and its community by being Altar Servers at the Masses.  This includes school weekday masses as well as the weekend Masses.

Serving in the Church is a special privilege.  It allows you to be close to the altar, to carry the cross, to carry the light of Christ, to wear the robe of baptism, to hold the book of prayers – and assist the priest in making the Mass a time of reflection and thanksgiving to God.

This is your invitation – “If today you hear His voice, harden not your hearts”.  We hope you will accept our invitation to join our parish altar servers.

Dear Parents, If your son/daughter wishes to sign up to be an Altar Server at St. Thomas More Parish, please click on the form below, fill in the the necessary information and submit this form.

Please see the form below to fill in the appropriate information. Once submitted we will contact you regarding a time for training.  Please mark the Masses which you attend and/or where we may schedule your son/daughter to serve.  In addition, the 7:30am and the 7:00pm Masses are difficult to schedule because not many students attend these Masses – therefore, each server is asked to take a turn serving this Mass once during a normal scheduling period, which is usually 4 months.  If your child is unable to serve these Masses at all, please indicate that in the appropriate box.
