Prospective Families

St. Thomas More Catholic School is one of the preeminent PK-8 Schools in Spokane, WA. Our students are empowered and encouraged to reach their full potential as unique creations of a Loving God. We are innovative in our programs and strong in our academics as we nurture a community of support between children, their families, the faculty, and the parish community at large. We are a fully Accredited school by the WCEA.  We are the only school in Spokane to have: An integrated STEM program whose curriculum spirals through the grades; a 4-day Residential Outdoor Education program at a Washington Environmental Learning State Park; a comprehensive Christian Living Curriculum that includes four retreats in 7th grade and 8th grade respectively; a Spanish Language Program; and an active partnership with Catholic Charities Spokane, inspiring students to serve and care for their community. Historically 96% of our graduates enter a college or university. Once a family is involved in this community we have a 97% retention rate. Families that desire children who are skilled at various learning strategies, compassionate and respectful of others, and whose eyes have been opened to the beauty of, as well as the needs of the greater community, choose St. Thomas More Catholic School.

Successful Accreditation Visit!

Our Accreditation Visit went very well. We received an "A+" rating and excellent report. The Team was especially impressed with our students and I have attached a copy of their thank you to the students. I want to thank all of the teachers, students, our School Advisory Council, our Community in Action association, and all of our community for a "job well done". I would also like to thank Fr. Pat Kerst for his amazing and encouraging support of the school and its teachers. This is a great community and it showed like the stars in the heavens these past three days. Thank you all for all you do to make St. Thomas More School such a great place to be for everyone.
